Our main building where I normally work. All that stuff in the middle of the yard (not including the vehicles) came off a boat a few days previously. I had to inventory it and have it all given a preliminary check before I could move it into the new warehouse. Our new warehouse - the largest in Bahrain Inside - lots of columns and lots of space - for now. Different types of vehicles stored until the Forces need them. Buses, dump trucks, Hummvees... ...to fire trucks to aircraft loaders and ambulances One of four 20 ton elevators to move the equipment upstairs And of course the uncompleted 2nd floor. A rollerized mezzanine will be installed up here to almost double the storage capacity of this level.

You can't tell very well, but I'm soaked. We spent a few hours emptying a 40' container of a load of loose supplies.

People here tend to make their own shortcuts since it's all hard packed sand/dirt in many areas.
